Master workshops, FEN Specials, or training courses for teachers—the FEN Academy is bringing new inspiration to the world of harmonica playing. What makes it special is that it not only creates new formats and events for everyone who loves the harmonica and wants to teach it. In workshops and courses, we will also increasingly combine it with other instruments. We are starting with the accordion. After all, we belong to the same family.

FEN Special

FEN SPECIALS are short workshop formats, master classes and musical salons on various musical and harmonica-specific topics. Our instructors provide insights into their musical world. Depending on the format, advanced harmonica players receive valuable inspiration for their own playing; those interested in music can look forward to new impulses and suggestions. FEN SPECIALS are open to anyone who is curious or wants to enter into a dialog with other (instruments).

ACCORDION MASTER WORKSHOPS

The time has come. We are joining forces with other instruments from the family of reed instruments. In November, there will be fantastic master workshops with jazz accordionist Fe Fritschi and Berlin-based world music accordionist Cathrin Pfeifer. Look forward to three intensive days full of music and encounters with like-minded people.

FEN MASTER WORKSHOPS 2025

The first FEN MASTER WORKSHOPS in Berlin are over and we look gratefully back on four fulfilling days. Our instructors Konstantin Reinfeld, Victor Puertas and Filip Jers shared their knowledge with a great group of advanced players over four days and certainly learnt as much as they taught. Training for Teachers

A steam locomotive in music lessons? Absolutely, because its chuchuuuu is very easy to imitate and extremely musical. We want to bring the harmonica to schools with training for teachers in public schools. The potential for this small instrument is huge and it is easy to get started. Teachers can use the harmonica to teach musical and social skills, and the special way of playing the instrument can help children and young people to reduce stress and anxiety.
