Master workshops, trainings for teachers or FEN specials — the FEN Academy is bringing new inspiration to the world of harmonica playing. What makes it special is that it not only creates new formats and events for everyone who loves the harmonica. In workshops and courses, we will also increasingly combine it with other instruments that gives us inspiration for a versatile playing.

ACCORDION MASTER WORKSHOPS 2025

The time has come. We are joining forces with other instruments from the family of reed instruments. In November, there will be fantastic master workshops with jazz accordionist Fe Fritschi and Berlin-based world music accordionist Cathrin Pfeifer. Look forward to three intensive days full of music and encounters with like-minded people.

FEN HARMONICA MASTER WORKSHOPS 2027

In 2027, some fantastic harmonica players will once again be coming to Berlin to share their expertise and inspire advanced players. In 2027, the accordion will join the harmonicas. In Jakob Steinkellner, we have found a versatile accordionist who will undoubtedly enrich the FEN MASTER WORKSHOPS. More information coming soon.

Training for Teachers

A steam locomotive in music lessons? Absolutely, because its chuchuuuu is very easy to imitate and extremely musical. We want to bring the harmonica to schools with training for teachers in public schools. The potential for this small instrument is huge and it is easy to get started. Teachers can use the harmonica to teach musical and social skills, and the special way of playing the instrument can help children and young people to reduce stress and anxiety.
