Now in its third year, the HARMONICA FEN FESTIVAL remains true to itself and presents the harmonica in an impressive variety of styles. The evenings (each evening ticket includes three top-class concerts) are also wonderfully diverse, each showcasing the musical range of this small instrument.

Day 3: Sunday
Sunday evening begins with Israeli-Belgian virtuoso Yotam Ben-Or and his lyrical jazz, which blends Mediterranean influences and a touch of the Caribbean with contemporary jazz from the New York club scene. The second concert of the evening features the wonderful Swedish band John Henry, led by country blues player Mika Bäckmann. The finale of our festival promises to be another exciting event. The Free Reeds All Star Ensemble brings to the stage the Chinese sheng of sheng master Wu Wei, the versatile accordion of Italian Vincenzo ‘Titti’ Castrini, the multifaceted harmonica played by jazz musician Steven De bruyn, and the archaic jaw harp played by Sören Birke.
