His music speaks of that hidden beauty which only reveals itself at a second glance; it tells of love and anger, of destruction and reconciliation. Since childhood, the piano has served as his medium to challenge genre boundaries and connect diverse musical worlds.

His classical training has given Murgier an immense virtuosity and a clear sense of form, qualities that he demonstrates as a soloist in Mozart’s piano concertos while simultaneously deconstructing their codes. Drawing inspiration from jazz greats such as Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau, he breaks down traditional structures to create space for improvisation, all the while remaining deeply rooted in the rhythms of his homeland. Guided by the legendary Argentine pianist Hilda Herrera, he has learned to bring the pulsing accents of tango and rural dances such as the chacarera to life on the piano with percussive power.

For the musician, who was born in Buenos Aires in 1988 and is now based in Paris, art is always intertwined with social and environmental themes. Through pieces like his symphony Solastalgie (2024), which addresses climate change, the orchestral project Sarah et le Renard (2026) designed for school children, or his work with Radio Mobile Paris, he regularly addresses social cohesion and environmental issues. His latest solo album, Sirocco (2026), invites the audience to pause amidst the bustle of our time and listen to the subtle shifts in the world around us.

Murgier performs worldwide, from the CCK cultural centre in Buenos Aires and international jazz clubs to the Philharmonie de Paris and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. Join us for a concert that unites tradition and modernity in the here and now.

Performing with his quartet, his trio or as a soloist, he has appeared in numerous concerts worldwide, gracing prestigious venues such as the CCK in Buenos Aires, the Philharmonies of Paris, Munich and Gdańsk, the Bærum Kulturhus in Oslo, Tokyo’s Nikkei Hall, the Salle Gaveau, the Halle aux Grains in Toulouse, and Radio France. In addition, he regularly plays at major jazz clubs, including Fasching in Stockholm, Cosmopolite in Oslo, Café de la Danse and New Morning in Paris, and the Bebop Club in Buenos Aires.
