THE MASTER WORKSHOP

The Master Workshops take place from Thursday to Sunday. In addition to the lessons, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and jam with others.

A workshop for (semi-)professional and advanced players of the chromatic harmonica. With Antonio Serrano.

In this workshop, Antonio will share practical insights into modern jazz harmonica playing, focusing on sound, phrasing, harmony, and improvisation. Participants will work on developing a solid technical foundation, as well as gaining tools to approach jazz language in a clear and structured way.
Over four days of intensive work, attendees will experience a true immersion into jazz harmonica, receiving valuable practice strategies and musical concepts that can be applied to their own artistic development.
For this course you should be able to play single notes with confidence. Please bring a chromatic harmonica in the key of C (any size is okay). The teaching language is English.
THE INSTRUCTOR
Antonio Serrano is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding chromatic harmonica players of our time. With his distinctive voice and deep understanding of jazz language, he stands among the very few musicians who have successfully carried forward the legacy of the great Toots Thielemans, while developing a highly personal and contemporary style.
Beyond his performing career, Antonio is a versatile musician who seamlessly integrates jazz, classical, and flamenco traditions, bringing a unique artistic perspective to the harmonica. As an educator, he is equally inspiring.
