FEN MASTER WORKSHOP – WORLD MUSIC ON THE ACCORDION 21–23/11/2025

In this inspiring MASTER WORKSHOPS, we will dive into the fascinating world of musical styles that make the accordion such a distinctive instrument in different cultures, including the lively rhythms of South America, the charming and danceable melodies of Balfolk, and the elegant sounds of the Musette from France.

Based on the respective stylistics, we will explore grooves, develop different forms of accompaniment, delve into harmony, and discover typical embellishments that characterize each style. We will also focus on bal work and try out simple improvisations.

In doing so, we recognize how helpful it is to know the structure of harmonies in order to be able to accompany oneself and others in a varied way.

There will be enough time to respond individually to each participant, which will also benefit the others.

REQUIREMENTS
Advanced, basic knowledge of harmony in both hands, knowledge of music notation
